Good Wins HR is running a confidential search for a Director of Finance on behalf of a well-known, fast-growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) company. Their flagship products are sold in thousands of retail locations nationwide. As the company continues to scale rapidly, they are seeking an experienced finance leader to join the team in New York City and report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making

• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and financial models to track performance and support scenario planning

• Partner with the CFO and leadership team to evaluate growth initiatives, new product launches, pricing strategies, and capital allocation

• Implement and optimize financial systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure scalability and compliance

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning

• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain on cost management, inventory planning, and margin improvement

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred

• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally within high-growth consumer goods or manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and ERP systems

• Proven ability to deliver strategic insights and partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Able to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced environment
